Allegro at Jack London Square, Oakland CA 310 units, built 2001 Jack London Square on Oakland's waterfront is a revitalizing neighborhood set in an old industrial area. The construction company faced special challenges working amidst the warehouses and small manufacturing facilities that were the 310-unit complex's neighborhood. But completing the project on time and on budget were conditions of the presale of this complex to SSR/CalPERS, which closed late 2001.
